Meanwhile, today marks the 86th anniversary of the old-timer of the real estate market, the former head of the Moscow construction complex, and now a State Duma deputy Vladimir Resin.

If in Moscow it were necessary to erect a monument to the most important corrupt official, the living embodiment of lies, theft, kickbacks, undisguised and unscrupulous wealth, it would be a monument to our today’s birthday man. After all, he is a real symbol of corruption. If you ask any Muscovite on the street which of the living officials stole the most in the city, they will tell you - Resin.

Resin’s personal financial heyday began under Luzhkov. In the 90s and early 2000s, when Resin was deputy mayor, headed the Moscow construction complex, he turned it into an ideal pasture for corrupt officials. Thus, the wife of his boss, Elena Baturina, by 2007 controlled more than 20% of Moscow’s housing developments. And she stole so much that 15 years later she still remained one of the richest women in Russia.

After Luzhkov’s resignation, Resin retained his post for some time (and even acted as mayor of Moscow for a short time). In 2012, United Russia included him in the lists in the elections to the State Duma, and he became a deputy.

Resin is a unique, really museum exhibit. He, wearing a watch for a million dollars, headed the anti-corruption committee. They asked him: “Vladimir Iosifovich, where did you get a watch for a million?”, And he simply said it was all “fiction, lies and slander”. And he continued to wear them as if nothing had happened.

Resin’s deputy in this anti-corruption committee was Alexander Kosovan, head of the urban construction department. This year alone, his family firm received state contracts for 12 billion rubles - they are the largest beneficiaries of the Moscow renovation program. All the builders of Moscow, who got multibillion-dollar renovation contracts, are somehow connected with Resin.

Vladimir Resin became the main person in charge of all construction projects in Moscow in 1991 - under Gavriil Popov. For almost 20 years, the title of his post has changed several times. One of the most influential officials in the circle of Yuri Luzhkov, Resin disposed of Moscow land, made decisions on the demolition of buildings, the construction of new microdistricts, the design of interchanges and the laying of new highways.

Under Resin, the construction complex turned into the fastest growing sector of the Russian economy, and along with the rise in price per square meter of real estate, businessmen who received “investment contracts” from the mayor’s office, the conditions of which were far from always fulfilled, also became rich. In 2009, the Vedomosti newspaper ranked the most expensive watches of the Russian elite: the first place with a watch worth a million Swiss francs went to the head of the capital’s construction complex.

The current deputy does not get tired of pampering himself, despite his age. Many individuals today can also afford a similar luxury solely thanks to him. So, for example, once, at his request, the wife of Oleg Mukhametshin was taken to the mayor’s office. However, in those days, luck smiled only at the elite, because Resin himself was always distinguished by greed.

Resin selected people carefully enough. He kept a list of those who congratulated him on the holidays, and those who brought gifts worth less than 15 thousand dollars, the former vice-mayor of Moscow preferred to bypass.

The main Moscow developer, of course, could not leave himself and his family without luxurious real estate. The family of the former vice-mayor of Moscow for construction, Vladimir Resin, owns property worth a total of 2.2 billion rubles.

Resin himself owns real estate worth 1.1 billion rubles. We are talking about a land plot of 110 acres, as well as a house in the village of Landscape on Rublevsky Highway with an area of 1.63 thousand square meters.

The official’s wife manages an apartment in Sechenovsky Lane with an area of 168 sq. m. Housing is estimated at 100 million rubles. In addition, a house on Rublevsky Highway is recorded on her. The area of the object is 437 sq. meters, and the price is 200 million rubles.

The daughter of the family, Ekaterina Demidova, and her husband also have housing. The girl owns an apartment in the White Swan residential complex on Michurinsky Prospekt worth 143.5 million rubles, and her husband owns an apartment on Rochdelskaya Street for 69 million rubles.

The grandson of Vladimir Resin also has a place to roam, he owns an apartment in a house on Staropimenovskiy Lane worth 200 million rubles. In addition, he is the owner of non-residential premises on the Arbat for 91 million rubles.

The daughter of the deputy Ekaterina owns 11 apartments in Prague with a total value of 147 million rubles. Meanwhile, as a place of residence in Prague, the family indicates in the documents an apartment in the city center with an area of 300 square meters. meters.
