Early presidential elections scheduled for July 9 this year in Uzbekistan

This was announced by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, today he signed the relevant law.

Earlier in the country passed referendum on amendments to the Constitution, which provided for the zeroing of the terms of the incumbent president. Now he will be able to run for office again and rule until 2040. More than 90% of the population voted for the amendments to the Constitution.
